Is it legal for tournament play?

Yes. The Pocket Caddie conforms to the Rules of Golf.

Does a single prong fix pitch marks as well as two?

Yes. Push the brass prong in at the edge of the mark, lever the turf gently toward the center, then work around the mark. Don't lift the center up. Tap it flat with your putter when you're done.

Which ball marks work with it?

Any magnetic ball mark. A black nickel plated Red Stndrd mark is included.
